Pizza Sauce

                                                      Pizza Sauce

Why buy Pizza Sauce when its so easy to make it yourself. My daughter and I have a passion: Pizza Bread. I buy the Pane Tuscan from Aldi, the sliced hard Salami (the small round ones) and sliced Mozzarella. We add that all on the bread and then off in the sandwich maker it goes. Until its thin, crispy and ooey gooey.

The Pizza sauce we had before just didn't do it. So I made my own and since this is a guideline for my daughter (she is going off to College).

This is what you need:

- Tomato Sauce

- 1 glove of Garlic

- Italian seasoning

- Salt

This is how you do it:

Combine everything in a jar. Mince the garlic finely. Its immediately ready to use.

Enjoy and guten Apetit

Rose Tteokbokki

                        Rose Tteokbokki

This here is a new favorite. It's cheese and hearty and just yum. We added some Ramen which made it to Rose Rambokki.

I got all my ingredients basically from the Korean Store named Lotte. But I am sure you can find it any other asian store.

I used for Bacon the Beef Bacon, but you can also use regular Bacon.

This is what you need:

- 3-4 Slices Bacon

- small sausages (Aldi the Party sausages)

- Tteokbokki (2 handful, we used the thin sliced but these are actually better for that)

- 1/2 Onion, fine chopped

- 1/2 TBSP Garlic

- 2 TBSP Gochujang (I used 1/4 TBSP

- 1 TBSP Gochugaru (I used 1 TSP)

- 1/2 TBSP Soy sauce (or more as needed)

- 2 TBSP Sugar

- 1 Cup Water

- 1 Cup Milk

- 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream

- 1 Cup Mozzarella

This is how you do it:

Take the Tteokbokki and put them in a bowl of water.

Slice the Bacon and pan fry it until almost crispy. Add the Onions to it and on medium heat let them go together until Onions are a bit softer. Take the Tteokbokki out of the water and add them to the Pan.

Now you may add all the spices like the Gochujang, Gochugaru, Garlic, Soy Sauce and Sugar. Stir it all together until combined. Now add the cup of water and bring it back to a boil. Add the Sausages and now also the Milk and heavy cream. At the very last you add the cheese and let everything marry together.  Try it if it needs more soy sauce or more spice. If you want more spicy, add more Gochujang. But be careful. That stuff is hot hot hot.

We added some Ramen noodles to it so we had Rambokki but its fine as is.

Enjoy

Guten Appetit
